The Foundation of a Professional Corporate Cricket League

The NICCL T20 Season 1 – also referred to as the North India Corporate Cricket League – marked the beginning of a professionally organized corporate cricket structure in North India. Organized in the latter part of 2025 at the Inderjeet Cricket Academy in Dappar, the first season of the NICCL T20 marked the beginning of the best corporate teams coming together in a professionally organized T20 format.

Season 1 was aimed at establishing operational credibility and competitive standards before scaling up in future seasons. The NICCL T20’s first season was organized as a proof of concept.

Two groups (Group A & Group B)

Key Results & Standout Performances

Season 1 witnessed many memorable moments that highlighted the calibre and competitiveness of the league. Lightning Legends emerged as the champions, winning the final by 7 wickets, showcasing their dominance and consistency.

Himachal Pirates – Steelbird finished the tournament as Runners-Up, thus proving their consistent performance throughout the season.
Pahadi Commandos have recorded the most dominant win of the tournament by winning a match by 50 runs.
An outstanding individual performance was noticed when Golu scored 113 runs on just 57 balls, thus again proving that the NICCL T20 matches are high-scoring and entertaining.

These incidents again proved that the NICCL T20 is a serious and performance-based corporate cricket league.

The NICCL T20 Season 1 has proved the league’s vision, execution capabilities, and appeal. With a solid foundation established, the league is all set to expand in the coming seasons.

Season 2 will expand from 8 teams to 16-24 corporate teams, with increased participation, reach, and league experience for players, sponsors, and partners.
